Our easy baked Ham and Egg Casserole recipe


There’s nothing better than a warm, filling casserole recipe on a chilly night. An easy way to make a yummy casserole that you may not have thought of is to incorporate some typical breakfast foods: egg, bread and ham. These ingredients come together to make a delicious baked ham and egg casserole recipe! Ingenious, right?

Baked Ham and Egg Casserole Recipe

You will need

• 3 cups milk
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• ¼ cup finely chopped onion
• 6 slices of bread, cut into cubes
• 1 cup cooked cubed ham
• ¼ cup chopped red or green pepper
• 6 eggs

To make

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix the cheese, ham, bread cubes, peppers and onions in a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a mixing bowl, whisk the milk and eggs and pour over the ham, cheese and bread mixture.

To make ahead the night before: cover with foil and refrigerate, and complete the next step when it is time to serve.

Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. This recipe serves about 8-10 – so its perfect for leftovers! Keep the baked ham and egg casserole in the fridge to keep it fresh.
